What to expect

Book the day before if you can — the good drivers fill up fast, especially for the Nuwara Eliya road. I pay a flat day rate rather than a metered fare for anything outside central Kandy.

There's no fixed price list, so always agree the fare before you get in. WhatsApp is the easiest way to sort details out ahead of time.
